behind the story of Peace, Love, & Joy...

In high school, to cope with the chaos, I found my peace in painting. Painting peace signs.  I could simply paint for hours on end.  I would paint after school and before I knew it, it was bedtime. 

 

As you see in this image, this is one of my collections of paintings that I had created for my high school friends as a way to spread the message of peace from me to their journey through college and whatever life may bring their way.  

 

I have learned on my journey that life will never be "peaceful" as we would like for it to be.  For there to be peace, we need to create peace within ourselves.  Being at peace does not mean that your life is still.  It means that you are able to find peace in the midst of chaos. That is peace. To achieve peace, every action should be with the intention of love.

 

What makes my peace signs special is that I paint when I am in peace.

When I am in a peaceful place.  

When I am at peace with myself.

So that my paintings may transcend this energy to you.

 

My life's mission is to share peace through my paintings to the world.
